Vintage Reclaimed Lumber can add style and character to any home. Use it for ornamental beams, mantels and stair parts as well as ceiling, wall and flooring treatments. The most common reclaimed species are douglas fir, oak and heart pine, however, there are many other varieties available.

Salvaged lumber generally contains varying degrees of "character marks" which result from previous joinery. These include bolt holes, nail holes, mortises, notches and the seasoning checks which result from being dried for many years. Recycled lumber is available "as is" or can be remanufactured into many products.

Las Animas Wood Products is pleased to have an extensive inventory of salvaged lumber including but not limited to the following: Assorted sizes of douglas fir timbers, douglas fir "silvered" siding, heart pine, american chestnut, redwood, mixed species barnwood, and oak barnwood. Furthermore, Las Animas has many sources for special needs such as timber packages in heart pine and douglas fir.
